About the Fund
Objectives:
- Provide bereavement support to members of the Fund, their spouses and children.
- Provide support to a member who is on prolonged sick leave without pay or reduced pay.
- Contribute to the education of the children and dependents of a deceased member or a member who is on prolonged sick leave without pay.
- Support members in any other circumstances that the Trustees may find fit and deserving. Such circumstances shall be communicated to members from time to time.
- Acquire any real or immovable property for the benefit of the beneficiaries of the Fund.

Join the Fund
Before applying, we encourage you to review the important information provided below. This will help you understand your eligibility and requirements of joining the Fund. We appreciate your interest in our ICPAU Benevolent Fund.
Eligibility:
- Members of ICPAU
- Staff of ICPAU
Requirements:
- Copy of National ID
- Copy of marriage certificates for listed spouses
- Copy of birth certificates/legal documents for listed children
- Complete personal details (name, contact, next of kin)
- Attach copies of requirements
Benefits
Financial Support (to be determined by the board) upon:
- Death of a member
- Death of a member’s spouse
- Death of a member’s biological or adopted child
- Incapacitation of a member

How can I join the Fund?
Members or staff who would like to join the Fund could sign up via the Fund’s portal https://icpauportal.com/benevolent_portal.

How much do I need to contribute?
Contribution to the fund is determined by the board of trustees annually.
For 2024, members of the Fund are required to remit UGX. 50,000. -
How do I pay?
A member or spouse or dependent seeking assistance from the Fund shall complete the following steps:
Share communication via benevolent@icpau.co.ug or notify incidence via the Fund’s portal https://icpauportal.com/benevolent_portal.
Provide all additional documents and information requested by the Board of Trustees. All claims should be submitted within two months upon the occurrence of the event.
Payments from the Benevolent Fund will be made directly to the individuals requesting assistance. In all cases, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to determine amounts to be awarded for varying occurrences. -
How do I apply for my benefits?
Members can exceed their minimum contributions however; this may not imply that they would qualify for more benefits when need arises as compared to other members.
