About this job	The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial health of the company. He/shewill oversee budgeting, reporting, auditing, and compliance functions. The ideal candidatewill have a strong understanding of insurance brokerage financial operations, regulatoryframeworks, and team leadership

Role purpose and context
Key responsibilities	Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. Ensure compliance with URA, IRA, and other financial regulatory requirements. Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team. Oversee cash flow, expenditure, and financial planning. Coordinate internal and external audits. Advise management on strategic financial decisions. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and systems.
Qualifications	Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Experience	Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
Personal attributes	Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations in Uganda.
