Key responsibilities | • Assist the Audit Manager in managing a portfolio of audit engagements and contribute to the development and implementation of audit strategies in compliance with Price and King's audit policies and International Auditing Standards. • Support the Audit Manager in profitably managing audit projects by providing day-to-day leadership to ensure efficient team performance aligned with the firm’s professional values. • Effectively supervise team performance against the audit plan, identify areas for improvement, and recommend necessary actions to the Audit Manager. • Identify and recommend business development opportunities to the Audit Manager for growing the audit client base. • Provide coaching and training to junior audit team members to enhance overall team performance and professional development. • Foster a team culture that encourages staff to think creatively and take responsibility for contributing solutions to challenges faced during engagements. • Appraise the performance of junior staff, provide timely feedback, and deliver on-the-job training to support their development. • Develop and maintain good and productive working relationships with clients, the audit team, and other internal stakeholders. • Supervise audit engagement teams to ensure that the work performed adheres to quality assurance standards and aligns with the firm’s audit methodology. • Review working papers, supervise audit tasks, and ensure that documentation meets the required quality and professional standards. • Proactively address client issues and escalate significant matters to the Audit Manager, ensuring client expectations are managed effectively. • Deliver on-the-job training and provide close supervision to the audit team throughout the audit process. |
Qualifications | • Must be CPA (U) or ACCA Qualified or part qualified; • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. • 4-7 years of relevant work experience • Excellent interpersonal, report writing, and communication skills. • Excellent business development skills and proven expertise in acquiring new client business. • Excellent business management skills to ensure efficiency, growth, and profitability as well as comply with the firm and professional standards of the accounting profession. • Good project management skills. • Good knowledge of IFRS and ISA • Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. • Integrity within a professional environmen |
